The author Peter J. Wolf is at the School of Design Innovation at Arizona State University as a lecturer. His teaching areas include industrial design, visual communication design and design history. He has published extensively both in the trade as published in the public press.

My comment The demands of work in creative occupations have risen: not only is looking for creative empowerment as a versatile VisualisiererIn, but also extensive knowledge of professional reasoning. The aim of the DFI-training is the acquisition of vocational competence, "defined as a composition of professional, personal and methodological skills. General requirements of the work currently derived from three mega trends: first
Globalization and internationalization,
second Technologisation and computerization of work and third
Dissolution of work "
. (Source: Hermann Groß, Stefan Hüppe: forming learning; 2010, Cornelsen Verlag, Berlin)
The internationalization of the world of work is due to this multi-lingual dictionary of commonly used technical terms, it really has great value and not only clear but is also well illustrated. Expertise is conveyed via specialized language. Asymmetry of focus, lithography and line break, the author devotes with sample images all key terms, and brings them through cross-references in an international context. This has never happened in this form, and therefore can move without detours as a new standard work for the globaliserte communication design education in any university library.
Conclusion ***** (5 out of 5 stars)

This book is from mid-February before the DFI library.
